Nobody's Perfect

Ok. Hope everyone is doing well. I am back again.

So, have you ever made a mistake and regretted it after the fact? Like, you were torn up about it and didn't know how to handle it?

Well, that's good! You need to have the regret! It shows that God is pulling at your heart to let you know that something needs to change and you are noticing Him.

So, what do you do with this regret? Because sometimes you really don't know what to do.

First, go to God and lay the regret at His feet. Admit that you have done something wrong and ask Him to help you and forgive you. Second, forgive yourself and get into your mind that you don't want to make that mistake again because it will suck so much more when it happens again. Third, talk to someone like a friend that will not judge you for it because you are going to need accountability. Fourth, talk to an older adult that you trust and let them help lead you the right way and keep you accountable. Lastly, don't just make a plan to change, but take the first steps in changing.

Now, not saying that you wont trip or fall sometimes, but it does not mean you just stay down and mope around. You need to get back up and keep going. If you trip or fall, it just shows that you were moving towards the goal and you are closer than before. So, keep getting closer and don't give up even if you have to crawl part of the way. As long as you are moving, you are doing great.

And don't forget that everyone makes mistakes too and it is not just you. You aren't alone in this, guys! So, don't fret with that. But don't use that as excuse to keep making the same mistake because many people will get into their heads "Oh, it's okay and no big deal since I'm not the only one making this mistake." Oh my gosh! Heck to the no! You are your own person and should not be doing something because of someone else! And it's not okay to keep making the same mistake and it's a huge deal if you keep doing it on purpose! You need to change and get on the right path!

You can do it, my friends! Listen to the regret and get on the right path with the help of God and others! And don't give up!
